#FirstGenKid (4th Sun at 2:30pm) – did you have to fill out the FAFSA on your own, translate your own report cards and field trip forms, learn your parents’ signatures (we won’t tell!) because they weren’t around to sign things? If you’re a first generation immigrant, or college grad, or the first to have a high-paying salary, or the first in your family to be in a position to buy a home (or all the above!) we have your back.
Family Legacy (4th Mon at 8pm)- do you have a family you’re raising or planning for one? Has planning for your own family been tricky because you’re taking care of the generation before you? We get what it’s like to be a parent for your kids while also having to be a parent for… your parents. Navigating family life and being caught in between generations isn’t easy and we’ll guide you through it all.
Daytimers (3rd Weds at 3pm)– POC always know how to make it work, and sometimes that means your work and life don’t fit the traditional 9-5. It also means your finances may need an extra layer of thought if you can’t access traditional 9-5 financial services. This cohort’s for all of you with alternative work schedules, 3rd shifters, unpredictable evenings, unpredictable income, whatever your reason for being a Daytimer, we got you.
I Work for Me (3rd Weds at 8pm) – POC businesses overall have a harder time accessing capital (including those PPP loans), less savings reserves, and are more likely to have funding gaps. The pandemic exposed the racial wealth divide in all aspects of our economy, especially our small businesses. Small business owners are some of the most creative and resilient folks out there. You know because you’re one of them.
